Pianos Available for Rebuilding
These pianos are in our current inventory and have great rebuild potential. While virtually all fine pianos can be restored, these pianos were selected by my father as the finest candidates for restoration. He sought out pianos that had not been previously restored or tampered with in their hundred plus years. They are from the greatest periods of piano making before World War 2. A rebuilt piano from our workshop is a great value. It is about half the price of a brand new one, and it is our humble opinion that it is of better quality.
In a factory every component is done in assembly line fashion – here in my small workshop where I do a limited number of rebuilds per year, I am afforded the luxury of getting to know my customer and customizing the rebuilding to your preferences.
You can choose the color and finish, express your preference of brightness and darkness of tone, touch weight and response (the feel of the keys), voicing, accessories, etc. I’m happy to have you out to my workshop to see examples of rebuilt pianos to play and discuss options. Throughout the rebuilding process we will be in communication and you can receive photos of your piano in various stages of the rebuild.
